Lyndhurst is in Tarrytown, NY. A short walk from our home. This was drawn close to the Aqueduct walking and bike path. Many bikers an dog walkers stopped to chat. Beautiful summer day sketch, 6/23/2018. Watercolor and white gouache on 5 x 7" panel.

Battery Park Garden
A group of artists meets on Wednesdays in Wagner Park in Battery Park, New York City from May to October. There are beautiful gardens, Hudson River and New York Harbor views. I have loved drawing from nature for years, but mostly painted landscapes in the distance. Recently I have become interested in foreground details and am loving this direction. When I am on vacation, I love to draw the garden. Watercolor with white gouache on a 5 x 7 Aquabord panel.
